Fully vaccinated passengers from eight countries can now travel to Singapore without needing quarantine, as the country is seeing constant improvements in the COVID-19 situation.

With the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases, Singapore has announced on Tuesday the widening of quarantine-free entry for travellers. Those who have taken two doses of vaccination against the virus are now allowed to travel. Visitors from the eight countries can visit Singapore, as commercial restrictions have relaxed.

Singapore conducted an easing expansion programme last month with Germany and Brunei, where they began with vaccinated air travel channels with both the countries. Now, Singapore is open to travellers from United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.

According to Singapore Airlines, flights from Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles, and New York started arriving on Tuesday as part of the program. They also mentioned, “The demand for our Vaccinated Travel Lane flights has been extremely high. It applies to all cabin classes and travel segments, including leisure, family, and business.”

What’s more?

  • Travellers have to present the Covid-19 test reports before departing and while arriving in Singapore.
  • Unvaccinated children under the age of 12 can travel under the scheme if the matter is a reunion.
  • The administration has chosen to open tourism to eight countries to bring economic stability to the country.
